Southern Peru is home to significant mineral wealth. In the Moquegua region, in an open-pit copper mine, thunderstorms pose a very serious threat to mine workers. It was therefore necessary to develop and install a lightning detection system.

The objective was to monitor cambodia telegram   the initial atmospheric conditions for the creation and/or generation of a thunderstorm, and then issue preventive warnings to personnel located in various areas of the mine.

Warning system with sirens and traffic lights
This warning is carried out using electronic sirens that generate acoustic warnings at three levels depending on the danger, and also visually – using a semaphore system, where these levels are differentiated by the colors of the traffic lights. For example, in the case of a red warning, not only does the corresponding tone sound, but the red light on the “semaphore” also comes on. This exceptional installation of our Bono sirens was carried out by the Peruvian company Enviro Andinos .
